General Policy Guidelines:
1) UE requires all customers to acknowledge a sign in sheet before being allowed on the boat. This is in case of an emergency situation.
2) Every customer is required by TPW to carry a valid TX Saltwater Fishing License, if you do not carry one you will be responsible for any
fines or fees that may occur. This is a requirement of TPW. http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us
3) UE does welcome children ages 8 and older. EACH child (ages 8-16) MUST be accompanied by ONE ADULT FOR EVERY CHILD. The minimal
age on a long range trip is 14 unless approved thru the office. Ages 8-12 do receive 15% off ticket price only at the time of reservation and only
valid toward a 12 hour trip.
4) UE supports their troops and peace officers. These individuals must show current proof of active duty in order to receive 15 % off ticket
price and the discount is only valid at the time of reservation.
5) Walk-Ins are welcome, but space is not guaranteed. All individuals who are paid in full will be checked in first, all walk-ins will then check in
according to first come first board.
6) Underwater Expeditions does have the right to move customers from one boat to another depending on availability
7) Weather calls will be made at 3:15 the day before your trip departs. The customer is responsible for checking in with the office the day
before trip departure. After hours voicemail will have information on next day trips.
8) If UE cancels for unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather conditions or if the minimum capacity is not met, we will refund in full or
reschedule your trip.
9) We do accept all major credit cards as well as money orders, cash and company checks. No personal checks will be accepted.
10) All twelve hour customers are required to pay in full at the time of reservation. Boarding is on a first show up first board basis. Long range
customers will not be issued a boarding number until the 200.00 deposit minimal has been met. Boarding will be on a number reservation
basis.
11) Cancellations on 12 hour trips are allowed up to 2 weeks before trip departure and long range trips have up to 30 days before trip
departure to receive a refund or move money from one trip to another.
12) NO GLASS CONTAINERS ARE ALLOWED. Alcohol is allowed: no underage drinking or unruly guest behavior. If a problem arises the Capt.
will notify the office and the proper actions will be taken.
13) No guns, GPS, weapons or drugs are allowed aboard the vessel.
14) You are not allowed to put fish in your ice chest. We provide insulated fish sacks for each customer. At the end of your trip you may put
your fish sacks in your cooler, but not during the duration of your trip. If you are caught keeping more than the limit we will notify the proper
authorities. All bags and coolers are subject to searches if a situation arises.
15) We are a privately owned business and have the right to refuse service for any reason.
16) Please secure all items in vehicles and all items on boat. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
17) If you have misplaced something check with your captain first and then the office.
18) A Fillet Service is available at the dock upon return. Filleting and Gratuities are not included in the cost of your trip.
19) Daily bag limits and seasons can be changed by the Federal Government at any time. We only fish in federal waters. If you have any
particular question as to if a species in season or out you can visit http://www.gulfcouncil.org/ for rules and regulations.
20) UE strongly recommends that any customer with physical or health problems to consider the type of trip they are taking. Help is several
hours away. This helps prevent risking your own life or others who may be on the boat. We ask that if you are pregnant you notify the office,
you will not be allowed to board the boat without a doctor’s release. Be aware that all passengers will be required to provide Emergency
Contact information before boarding the boat.
Policy for the 12 Hour Trip (In addition to General Policy):
1) All 12 hour individuals are required to pay in full at time of reservation to guarantee spot availability on boat.
2) The office opens one hour prior to trip departure.
3) Bait and primary fishing tackle are included in the cost of your trip.
4) One ice chest up to 54qt is allowed per person and must remain outside on the bottom deck for the duration of the trip. We do not allow
anyone to put fish in their ice chest until you have departed the boat. Our personnel will ice and care for your fish.
5) UE requires a two week cancellation notice sent via e-mail, fax or mail in order to move trip dates or refund in full. If no cancellation notice
is received within this time no refund will be issued.
6) The Galley, Grill and Bunk Area are off limits to 12 hour customers. There is a coffee pot and microwave available for customer use.
Policy for the Long Range Trips (In addition to General Policy):
1) All long range customers are required to pay a minimal $200.00 deposit at the time of reservation to receive a boarding number. Balance is
due 30 days prior to trip departure.
2) The office opens two hours prior to trip departure. Boarding is based on reservation number.
3) UE requires a 30 day cancellation notice sent via e-mail, fax or mail in order to move trip dates or refund in full. If no cancellation notice is
received within this time, no refund will be issued.
4) Bait and terminal tackle is included. Live bait is included if available.
5) One ice chest up to 120 qt is allowed and must remain on the top deck for the duration of the trip. We do not allow anyone to put fish in their
ice chest until you have departed the boat. Our personnel will ice and care for your fish.
5) The Galley is off limits to customers. Long range customers may use the coffee pot, microwave, grill and customer-designated refrigerator.
